ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ,24 ਅਗਸਤ 2021 : ਜਲੰਧਰ-ਦਿੱਲੀ ਹਾਈਵੇ ਜਾਮ ਕਰਕੇ ਬੈਠੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਅੱਜ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ 3 ਵਜੇ ਬੈਠਕ ਹੈ | ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁਝ ਹੱਲ ਨਿਕਲਣ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਜਤਾਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ |
ਏਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਨਵਜੋਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਗੰਨਾ ਕਾਸ਼ਤਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਕ ‘ਚ ਟਵੀਟ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ |
ਹੁਣ ਵੀ ਨਵਜੋਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਨੇ ਟਵੀਟ ਕਰਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ “ਪੰਜਾਬ ‘ਚ ਗੰਨਾ ਕਾਸ਼ਤਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਗੰਨੇ ਦੇ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਮੁੱਲ ‘ਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਕਰਨ ਤੇ ਪਿਛਲਾ ਬਕਾਇਆ ਜਲਦ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਲੰਧਰ ‘ਚ ਦਿੱਲੀ-ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਹਾਈਵੇ ’ਤੇ ਧਰਨਾ ਲਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਸੜਕੀ ਤੇ ਰੇਲ ਆਵਾਜਾਈ ਬੁਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਹੈ।”
The sugarcane farmers issue needs to be immediately resolved amicably …. Strange that despite the higher cost of cultivation in Punjab the state assured price is too low as compared to Haryana / UP / Uttarakhand. As torchbearer of agriculture, the Punjab SAP should be better !

ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਨਵਜੋਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਨੇ ਟਵੀਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਕਿ “2018 ਤੋਂ ਗੰਨਾ ਕਾਸ਼ਤਕਾਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰੀ ਮੁੱਲ (ਸਟੇਟ ਐਡਵਾਈਜ਼ਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਈਜ਼) ਨਹੀਂ ਵਧਿਆ, ਜਦਕਿ ਖ਼ਰਚੇ 30 ਫ਼ੀਸਦੀ ਤੱਕ ਵੱਧ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਮਾਡਲ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਗੰਨਾ ਕਾਸ਼ਤਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਸ਼ੂਗਲ ਮਿੱਲ ਮਾਲਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਦਾ ਲਾਭ ਮਿਲਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ |”
Sugarcane farmers SAP has not increased since 2018, whereas input cost has increased by over 30%. Punjab model means policy interventions giving fair prices, equitable share in profits, diversification in production & processing to give more profits to both farmers & sugar mill.

ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਐੱਸ.ਏ.ਪੀ. ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਵਾਧਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਦਾ ਰਹਿ ਗਿਆ ਬਕਾਇਆ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ।
ਦੱਸ ਦੇਈਏ ਕਿ ਨਵਜੋਤ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਟਵੀਟ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੁੜ ਆਪਣੀ ਹੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੇ ‘ਤੇ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ‘ਚ ਗੰਨਾ ਕਾਸ਼ਤਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਗੰਨੇ ਦੇ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਮੁੱਲ ‘ਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਕਰਨ ਤੇ ਪਿਛਲਾ ਬਕਾਇਆ ਜਲਦ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਲੰਧਰ ‘ਚ ਦਿੱਲੀ-ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਹਾਈਵੇ ’ਤੇ ਧਰਨਾ ਲਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਸੜਕੀ ਤੇ ਰੇਲ ਆਵਾਜਾਈ ਬੁਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਹੈ।
SAP should be immediately hiked as per farmers demands & pending dues should be released. Along with Modernization of Sugar Mills for higher productivity & production of high-value byproducts (ethanol, biofuel & electricity) for boosting profits of both Farmers and Sugar Mills.
